Combat Control Officer Logistics
As a Combat Control Officer Logistics, you will be part of FMLOG's work to carry out operational and strategic transports, with a particular focus on Europe in a time of geopolitical challenges. You play a key role in ensuring that operations are led efficiently and with high precision. FMLOG is in the midst of an exciting development journey where we are building tomorrow's defense and establishing our operations in more locations across Sweden. About the Unit:
The Operations Department (J3) at FMLOG consists of both civilian and military personnel who together are responsible for leading the daily operations within FMLOG. This means directing and coordinating tasks in the short and medium term (days to months) as well as conducting operational and tactical leadership of the unit.
FMLOG headquarters is located in facilities at Gärdet in Stockholm, together with, among others, FMLOG's transport unit. In the section, we work closely together and have a strong team spirit with great care and respect for each other and the important work we perform every day.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Combat Control Officer Logistics, you will, together with the section chief and other staff,:
- Be responsible for supporting the head of FMLOG with the daily management of the unit.
- Participate in planning and follow-up of the unit's activities.
- Collaborate and engage in dialogues within the unit as well as with higher and parallel command levels.
- Perform scheduled standby duty.
- Contribute on-site through business trips, both nationally and internationally.
Qualifications:
- Swedish citizen.
- Swedish officer's degree.
- Officer OR7/OF2, alternatively OR6/OF1 with a forecast towards OR7/OF2.
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
- Driving license B.
Meritorious:
- Officer training with a focus on logistics or equivalent experience.
- Experience of service at headquarters.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Good knowledge of VIDAR.
- FM/NATO/UN logistics training.
- Authorization ISUS.
- Authorization SWECCIS.
- Swedish Armed Forces signal protection training.
